Catherine was born in 1830 and was 16yo when arrived in Adelaide. Catherine married James McNamara (born ?) on 9th September 1947 (less than 1 year after arrival) in Adelaide. Catherine and James had 15 children, with only 11 surviving to adults; Dennis (1848), Michael (1850), Ellen (1852), John (1854), Lawrence (1857), Edward (1859), Patrick (1860), Catherine (1861), Julia (1862?), James (1864), Thomas (1866), Daniel (1867), Katy (1870), Sarah (1872), Peter (1875).
James and Catherine lived in Bull's Creek until 1860, after 7 children, they moved to the goldfields near Castlemaine, Victoria. James was listed as a miner. Catherine died in 1888 and is buried at Chewton, near Castlemaine. After Catherine's death James moved with several of the children to the goldfields of Hillgrove-Metz, near Armidale NSW. James died in 1900 and is buried at Armidale.
Interestingly, Catherine's death Certificate give her parents as John Guerin and Catherine Ryan of Broadford, Co. Clare.
Dennis was born 10th October 1848 at Bull's Creek. Dennis married Catherine Mullane (1854) and they had 8 children; James (1875), Mary (1877), John (1879), Nina (1883), Veronica (1886), Helena (1888), Catherine (1892), Daniel (1895). It is assumed Dennis and Catherine moved to Armidale with Dennis's father and Dennis died in 1916 and Catherine in 1909.
Michael was born in 1950 at Bull's Creek. Michael married Sarah Cooper (1857) and they had 5 children; Sydney (?), Mary (1877), Albert (1882), Florence (1884), Gladys (1887). Michael and Sarah moved to Armidale with Dennis's father and Michael died in 1895 and Sarah in 1936. Michael is buried next to his father at Armidale.
Ellen was born in 1852 and died at 2 months.
John was born 18 November 1854 at Bull's Creek. John married Catherine Sheen (?) and they had 6 children; Percival (1880), Katie (1884), Ethel (1886), Florence (1887), Sarah (1890), Michael (1894). It is assumed John and Catherine moved to Armidale and John died in 1894 and not known when Catherine died.
Lawrence was born 11th August 1857 at Bull's Creek. Lawrence married Bridget O'Brien (1860) and they had 3 children; Joseph (1885), unknown (?), Eilene (1888). It is assumed Lawrence and Bridget moved to Armidale and Lawrence died in 1918 and Bridget in 1942.
Edward was born 24th February 1859 at Bull's Creek. Edward married Mary Cooper (?) and they had 7 children; Ethel (1884), Rupert (1887), Harold (1889), Claude (1891), Russell (1894), Stanley (1898), Vincent (1902). It is assumed Edward and Mary moved to Armidale and Edward died in 1930 and not known when Sarah died.
Patrick was born 7 July 1860 at Bull's Creek, before the family moved to Armidale. There is no information on Patrick except he died around 1908.
Catherine was born in 1861 in the goldfields near Castlemaine, Victoria. Catherine lived for less that a year.
Julia was born around 1862 in the goldfields near Castlemaine, Victoria. It is unknown how long Julia lived but her name is not listed on her mother's death certificate.
James was born 1st January 1864 in the goldfields near Castlemaine, Victoria. James married Jane O'Brien (?) and they had 11 children; William (?), Clarice (1891), Cyril (1893), Elvira (1895), Cecil (1896), Mona (1898), Agnes (1900), Sheillah (1905), Wilma (1908), Jean (1909), Hilton (1911). It is assumed James and Jane moved to Armidale and James died in 1924 and Jane died in 1947.
Thomas was born 1st February 1866 in the goldfields near Castlemaine, Victoria. Thomas married Mary Safe (1865) and they had 7 children; Grace (1891), Mary (1892), William (1894), James (1895), Dorothy (1897), Ethelbert (1899), Thomas (1895). It is assumed Thomas and Mary moved to Armidale and Thomas died in 1929 and not known when Mary died.
Daniel was born around 1867 in the goldfields near Castlemaine, Victoria. There is no other information known.
Katy was born around 1870 in the goldfields near Castlemaine, Victoria and died at 5 months. Katy's name is not listed on her mother's death certificate.
Sarah was born 29th June 1872 in the goldfields near Castlemaine, Victoria and died soon after. Sarah's name is not listed on her mother's death certificate.
Peter was born 16th July 1875 in the goldfields near Castlemaine, Victoria and died sometime in the same year.
